Pierro
Manufacturer:
Andrew Jefford
Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Full green-gold. Buxom but subtle with it; not a wine of huge exposed cleavage, but tastefully dressed. Warm, creamy, refined. On the palate, it is a little more overt than the aromatics suggested: generous, full, lots of creamy coffee richness balancing buttered summer and tropical fruits. Hugely enjoyable if not quite noble.

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Soft savoury nose, spiced soft honeyed brioche palate with evolving stone fruit, leaving a palate of ripe pineapple and a juicy mouthfeel, needs time to get rid of the savouryness but a great wine.

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Ripe red citrus fruit and complex sesame seeds notes on the nose. Rich, tropical and ripe. A massive wine with creamy texture but enough acidity to balance it. Big style of chardonnay.
