Victoria Daskal is a wine writer, educator, presenter, and consultant with over 15 years of global industry experience.
She holds the OIV MSc in International Wine Management, a prestigious programme that took her through 45 wine regions across 23 countries. Her writing career began on the road with contributions to Jancis Robinson MW’s Purple Pages, which led her to London to work directly on the platform.
Victoria has since worked across fine wine sales, international wine events, and editorial leadership, serving six years as managing editor of The World of Fine Wine. In 2020, she founded the award-winning Mummy Wine Club, curating themed selections such as Hemingway’s Wines, Ancient Wine Regions, and Volcanic Wines, earning recognition from Decanter and Stylist Magazine as one of the UK’s best wine clubs.
Her business has since evolved into Victoria Daskal Wine, offering elevated masterclasses and private tastings.
A certified educator, Victoria teaches WSET Levels 2, 3 and Diploma at the WSET School in London. She leads expert-led wine tours for Martin Randall Travel, judges for major international competitions, and is currently developing the educational programme for the Old Vine Conference, advancing global awareness and appreciation of heritage vineyards.
