Matt writes about all areas of wine but specialises in the Rhône. His latest book, Wines of the Rhône, was shortlisted for an André Simon Food & Drink Book Award.
He is also the founder of Rhône tour and events company Rhône Roots.
In addition to writing, Walls advises restaurants on wine lists, hosts tastings and judges at food and wine competitions.
