Slightly reduced nose. Fruity and lively. Cedary fruit character.

Creamy, caramel, roasted dark fruit. Dark, treacly. Viscous and rich on palate but with nice juicy acidity. A bit overdone and burly; also has a slight dirtiness to it (1st bottle was corked). I’m not a big fan.

A very elegant example of Alto Maipo, this combines menthol and eucaliptus notes with more fruitier flavours, like cherry and black berry. The palate is powerful, yet elegant, with strong and pungent tannins, nice, refreshing and very well integrated acidity, giving tension to the wine. A sophjisticated version of Maipo Cabernet,.
