wild forest fruits and plum character followed by a palate of chocolate and sweet ripe plums. Very round and soft wine. lots of mocha and ripe polished tannins.

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Deep red. Lively spicy nose, quite oaky, but perky too. Medium-bodied, but pretty and fresh, with an attractive limpidity and nimble acidity on the finish. Not much depth of flavour but well crafted and has personality. Quite long.
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Bright red. Spicy sweet aromas and flavours of cinnamon red berries and Christmas pudding. Finishes long and clean
