Mezzavilla, Superiore
Manufacturer:
Andrea Bricarello
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
A bit dirty and animal, juicy mid palate with sweet spiced undertones. Elegant and rustic

Stephen Brook
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Very deep red. Dumb nose. Quite rich but limpid, with freshness and charm; concentrated and firm, with good structure and some depth of flavour. Robust but spicy, and has good length.
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Deep ruby. 1st bottle is corked. 2nd bottle: Spicy raspberry and red cherry on the nose with very pure spicy red fruit flavours on the palate too. Finishes with hints of graphite and cedar.
