Mon Birone
Manufacturer:
Andrea Bricarello
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Very fragrant and perfumed with lots of violets and liquorice. Juicy with vibrant acidity. The nose is slightly off putting at first. palate feels better with good concentration of fruits.

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Very deep red. Planky, oaky nose, rather excessive as it obscures the fruit. Broad, supple, concentrated, and tannic from the oak, this is a bit over the top and lacks clarity. The acidity is quite edgy and not in harmony with the lush fruit. Quite long.
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Deep red. Smoky notes on the nose with hints of cola, ripe red cherry and herbs. Then mounting tannic and monolithic with high alcohol and some ripe fruit.
