Tasting: Soave

Blowsy nose of ripe yellow fruit, hint of caramel. then big and chunky, monolithic even. Some ripe fruit, touch of finishing heat. Showy wine, but I’d like a bit more refinement.

Tasting: Soave

Intense with well-managed vanilla oak aromas; fresh linen, greengage and herbs. Round and full with chalky and woody notes plus a touch of acetone. Fair finish and length.

Leafy, herbaceous with floral hints on the nose – even a little saltiness! Very crisp and clean but has some subtle waxiness in the aftertaste. A very erudite style of Soave. Classic in the fresher style.
