Good youthful ruby in colour, nice Autumn bonfire and pipe tobacco smoke on the nose, quite richly textured, full-bodied cassis fruit framed by a light touch of smoky, vanilla oak with good overall concentration cocooned in a tight framework of fresh acidity and firmish tannins. Needs time.
